Job Details Overview  

·         Must have 13+ years of experience in IT and at least 8-10 years of DW-BI experience with MicroStrategy and Teradata as the primary skill however (Mandatory)

·         Must have at least 5 – 6 large MicroStrategy project implementations using MicroStrategy 7.x, 8.x & 9.x

·         Must have been involved in large DW-BI implementations with complete knowledge on SDLC such as Consulting, defining BI roadmap, Requirements Gathering, Source System Analysis, Data Modeling, Design, etc.

·         Good experience in creating reports, scorecards, dashboards, prompts, hierarchies, transformations and other MicroStrategy objects

·         Good experience in Narrowcast / Distribution Services experience & MicroStrategy Web including Web Server configuration

·         Good Experience in MicroStrategy Mobile, MicroStrategy office integration setup

·         Good experience in Integrity Manager; Object Manager; Enterprise Manager and Scan MD; Ability to work on VLDB settings

·         Must have Good knowledge on Teradata Architecture, Teradata utilities such as BTEQ, TPMUMP, FASTLOAD, FASTEXPORT, etc.

·         Good knowledge on Physical data modeling knowledge with respect to Teradata

·         Exposure to MicroStrategy upgrade & migration preferred

·         Exposure to SDK & Customization of MicroStrategy web pages preferred

·         Certification on MicroStrategy & Teradata preferred

·         Exposure to MicroStrategy administration also preferred

·         Ability to estimate for MicroStrategy projects; respond to MicroStrategy related RFI/RFPs

·         Will be MicroStrategy & Teradata Architect for one of the leading customers of DAS (Data & Analytics Solutions Practice)

·         Architecting BI Solutions, Design on MicroStrategy & Teradata driven

·         Contribute to MicroStrategy & Teradata related estimations, proposals etc.

·         Flexible to work on other technologies on need basis

·         Flexible to travel within and outside India on need basis (preferably short term travels however flexible for long term travel as well)

·         Soft Skills: Good communication, analytical and presentation skills, problem solving skills and learning attitude
