UNIX production support referral drive @ Wellsfargo

Minimum Qualifications:

Hands-on IT experience in  production support covering monitoring, incident management, problem management, Unix scripting, SQL queries, job execution engine

 

Technical:

§  UNIX: Understanding of the Unix OS, command line commands scripting and use command line editors, IE: vi or pico.  Ability to connect to various UNIX Servers using Putty or Exceed emulators is a must.

§  AutoSys: The ability to run AutoSys jobs, understanding of how to search for jobs with job name and environment details.  Creation of new jobs and modify existing jobs. Experience in identifying automation opportunities to reduce manual effort as well as avoid errors.

§  SQL: Advanced SQL Query writing experience in gathering information from SQL Server or Sybase or Oracle databases. Ability to analyze stored procedures and packages.

 

Non-Technical:

§  Good problem solving, analytical, verbal and written communication skills.

§  Should be detail oriented, self-starter, team player with the ability to multi-task.

§  Should have the ability to make decisions in a fast paced environment and know when to escalate a problem to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.

§  Demonstrated ability to learn the business quickly. 

 

Nice-to-have  Skills:

§  Knowledge of BMC Remedy for creating and managing problem tickets as well as change requests

§  Banking applications experience

§  Capital Market domain

 

Job Location: Hyderabad and Bangalore
