Requirements · Graduate of Engineer Science, or any IT-related course · 3-5 years work experience in Office Collaborations. TECHNICAL SKILLS: · Advanced knowledge and experience managing a Windows 2003/2008 server environment. · Solid understanding and support of large DNS, WINS, and DHCP networks. · Experience in BMC Remedy Administration,BMC Patrol. · Sound Knowledge on EMC Ionix & Netscout tool. · Experience in PVCS,Control-M administration tool · Wintel Server support. · Troubleshooting skills on IIS · Knowledge of Active Directory topology and functions · Good experience in File Server/NAS, Printer Server. · Knowledge of Share Point, OCS, LYNC. · Advance understanding of Windows system tools – task manager, msconfig services. msc, mmc, etc. · Worked on the Proxy server & Antivirus server. · Hands on experience on Blackberry Enterprise Server. · Exhibit strong team work qualities. · Awareness & Knowledge of WSUS, Avamar EMC, KMS (Key Mgmt Sys- Microsoft), and SCCM (svr config control mgmt) is an added advantage. · MCSA Certification is preferable. Major Tasks & Responsibilities · Troubleshooting of all Server Incident reported by Service Desk. As well as working on Service requests. · Provide Windows administration and IT server support. · Manage and administer Windows 2003 and 2008 servers, standard and enterprise. · Manage Windows Active Directory 2008. · Maintain and monitor daily backup jobs. · Installations of new software releases and system upgrades. · Plan, recommend and implement strategies around upgrades for servers and storage for virtualized environment. · Responsible for Change Implementation. · Patches up gradation on all servers. · Customer service; take ownership and manage all support cases via ticketing systems, provide regular updates to end users/requesters and close tickets within agreed timescales. · Vendor escalation, chase 3rd party vendors and suppliers for regular updates and escalate where necessary. · Work with other technical groups to help resolve network and non-server issues. |
