Experience/Skills

- Knowledge of Citrix, Xen, KVM, VMware and remote server support is an added advantage - Knowledge of LDAP, Tomcat/Weblogic/Websphere Application Servers and Any Backup application will be an added advantage - Experience on any one of branded hardware vendors like HP/Sun/IBM/Dell BSC Graduate. 4-6 Years experience.

Roles and Responsibility

- Minimum of 2-4 years administration experience on multiple variants of Linux - OS certification is must such as L+,RHCT,RHCE,RHCSS,LPI-L2 etc - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Experience in building kickstart setup for automated installation - Experience in Linux system services such DNS, NFS, Samba, Syslog, DHCP, NIS, NTP, Apache/Tomcat etc - Strong knowledge about acco unt and file system management activities - Experience on package management via RPM, Yum and Tarball - Expertise in OS hardening, performance and kernel tuning OS Clustering with Scripting understanding and knowledge.

AS400 ADMIN a. -Monitoring Active Users/Jobs b. Changing Job Queues and Priorities c. Start and Stop of System Jobs viz. TCP/IP Services, Subsystem, writers etc d. Monitor User job logs e. Collect Performance data f. Monitor and control system utilities such like monitoring memory space g. Maintaining free space, Monitor and control all the subsystem, Batch jobs h. Interactive jobs, Output Queues and job queues i. Monitor and upgrade the licensed key for the licensed programs in AS/400 j. Setting syst em wide security level. n. Perform iSeries client software installation. o. Document installation and configuration procedure. p. Basic problem identification / diagnosis. u. Monitoring of Disk space utilizati on. v. Performing system cleanup in consultation with Application support and users w.
