Job Description:
Position Highlights
· Level 2 Application Support Analyst
· Primary skills - SAP HR, SAP Modules include FI, BI and PI
· Secondary skills - ABAP, e-Recruitment, ESS, MSS, Learning Solutions and Travel Management
· 24/6 - Monday to Saturday Shift Work (Resources will only work for 5 days in a week)
Principal Responsibilities:
· Trouble shooting issues, leading technical investigations, support critical platforms in a demanding 24/7 environment and perform root cause analysis of technical outages (Incident & Problem Management)
· Debug the complex code units i.e. Stored Procedures, Perl & Shell Scripts, AutoSys Schedules
· Provide regular updates for the Major Incidents (MIHs)
· Escalate Incidents/issues to Development teams and/or Management as appropriate
· Ensure key deliverables meet the timelines (SLA Management)
· Participate in weekend or afterhours work to support critical business initiative such as application rollouts, infrastructure changes or disaster recovery tests will be required at times
· Work with Development team to rollout changes in the production environment (Release Management)
· Maintain knowledge base of known defects and issues, processes and support techniques
Key Skills/Requirements
Masters or Bachelors Degree (preferably in Computer Science/Engineering)
Overall IT experience 4-6 years
At least 3 years SAP HR, SAP Modules FI, BI and PI in a development or support role
At least 2 years SQL Sybase and/or Oracle SQL
Candidate must have 2 to 5 years experience providing production application support in the Investment Banking
Experience of developing trading/pricing or risk management applications in a securities trading
environment is a plus
Understanding of the derivatives & bond businesses, bond pricing, Risk management, P&L accounting, securities processing will be a plus
Knowledge of Microsoft office - Word, PowerPoint, Excel
Excellent written and spoken English
