Key Responsibility Areas
• Responsible for all the verification activities on assigned projects • Responsible to work with product owners ensuring the right scope and requirement exists for verification on assigned projects. • Responsible to analyze requirements and write test specifications, test designs, test frameworks/architectures. • Should be able to review requirements test designs/methods, test case documentations. • Understand the internet of things and should be able to build the approach for pre-integration testing and for E2E system verification. • Coordinate with various technical stakeholders for gathering the technical inputs and realize the verification goals. • Will be responsible create, maintain, and communicate a detailed analysis on the technical issues found during verification activities. • Arrange and provide training sessions to junior associates • Test mobile applications across iOS and android operating systems on various mobile devices adhering to consumer requirements as well as for business user requirements. • Actively investigate interesting new tools and techniques. Participate in troubleshooting and scoping issues with different teams to drive towards root cause Identification and resolution • Document results of testing and report any defects in a clear and comprehensive manner. Monitor and update bug reports as needed including bug closure report. Candidate profile
• Engineering Degree with 10+ years of experience in testing • Strong in writing and executing GUI, Functional, Regression, Security, and Performance related test cases in embedded systems, mobile/web applications & with databases. • Hands on experience in pre-integration test and system testing of embedded systems, mobile apps & cloud services. • Hands-on working with various testing techniques and should have built the career in testing/verification as a passion • Good understanding of SDLC and STLC , Testing methodologies and concepts • Must have : • 2-3 years' experience as a Test Architect • Hands on experience in programming and usage of Calabash, Ruby, Cucumber, Python • Knowledge on the software tools like SVN, Jenkins & Rally. • Working experience in SCRUM / AGILE, • Test automation experience on iOS as well as on Android ( designing and programming )
Key Responsibility Areas • The incumbent will create test cases from software requirements or specifications and execute them with reporting test results and reporting defects in to defect database. • Identify, verify, report, and regress bugs; perform root cause analysis to identify issues • Post processing test logs and results for generating comprehensive test report • Identify and analyze opportunities for test coverage and test process improvement • Participate in the design reviews and test planning reviews for new features • Continuously innovate new ways of test development and of test execution Candidate profile • Test Engineer who understands the mobile apps and embedded systems with hands-on experience with testing complex software systems. • Experience and education: 4 -8 year relevant experienced Graduates in E&C engineering / Computer science engineering / Instrumentation engineering / electrical engineering • Knowledge / experience in Android and iOS SDK • Experience in any programing language (C, objective C, C++, C#, Java), scripting any (Calabash, Cucumber, Python, Ruby, Perl), • Experience in automated UI testing • Strong analytical skills including the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions • Excellent teamwork, personal time management, ability to communicate technical issues • Cloud Platforms, Hadoop, SQL, Oracle, SAP BI Platforms, SAS BI platforms, NoSQL is an asset but not a must |
